Data Collection

Pocket Jelly is a local jelly toy. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs, or developer-operated backend. Pocket Jelly does not automatically send your recipes, photos, touch input, or motion data to the developer.

Data on Your Device

Recipes, the jellies chosen for your screen, and app settings are saved on your device so they can be restored later. Touch and motion input are used to animate the jelly and produce sound and haptics during play. Pocket Jelly does not keep a history of your touches or device movements. Material sound is synthesized; Pocket Jelly does not record microphone audio.

Photos and Sharing

Import uses the system photo picker to read only the image you select and decode its recipe QR code on your device. Pocket Jelly does not request access to your entire photo library or upload the selected image. Sharing creates an image containing the recipe name, shape, color, parameters, and a QR code that carries the recipe. The system share sheet sends or saves it only when you choose an action. The destination service handles the shared image under its own policy.

Background photos also use the system photo picker. The selected photo is resized and stored with your crop on this device, without its original location metadata. It is not uploaded or included in shared recipe images. Replacing or removing the background removes the previous saved background from the app.

Apple Music

The recipe editor requests music-library access when you use Album Artwork mode. Pocket Jelly reads the current Music track and available artwork to extract colors on your device. It does not change playback, record audio, save artwork or listening history, or upload music data. Saved and shared recipes contain the mode and fallback color, not the track or artwork. You can revoke access in iOS Settings.

Retention and Your Choices

Saved recipes and settings remain on your device until you change or delete them, or delete the app. Deleting a recipe does not remove jellies already on your screen; remove those separately. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but not images you saved to Photos or shared elsewhere. Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings; manage backups and Photos separately. You can turn gravity, shake response, sound, and haptics off in Settings, and manage any granted system permissions in iOS Settings.

Diagnostics and TestFlight

Pocket Jelly writes operational diagnostics to local system logs and does not upload them to a developer server. Apple may process crash reports, usage information, and TestFlight feedback according to your settings and its policies. If you send feedback or diagnostics, the developer can receive the information you provide. Do not include sensitive information in screenshots or reports.

Policy Website and Contact

The public privacy policy and support pages are hosted at xingyi.me on Alibaba Cloud. Your browser sends connection information, including your IP address and browser details, to load these pages. The pages do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. For support or privacy questions, email support@xingyi.me. Email is handled by Alibaba Mail and your email provider. The developer receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send, and uses them to respond to your request. Please do not include sensitive information. TestFlight testers can also send feedback through TestFlight.

Policy Updates

If Pocket Jelly changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated with a new effective date.
